We Hear You — Now Hear Us Out

Hi ladies — pull up a chair, we need to have a chat.

We've heard a few of you are unhappy about not getting enough bookings through luvr.co.za. It makes us sad, because we genuinely want every one of you to do well here. So let's talk honestly.

Some perspective first. We launched 3 months ago and already have 200 listings. The big red, purple, and blue sites have 3,000 to 4,000 and years of traffic behind them — we're nowhere near that yet and won't pretend otherwise. But 200 listings from a standing start is a solid foundation, and we're growing fast. Your listing on luvr is also free while we grow — those other sites charge you. And we see who's here with us in these early days. We keep track of who joined when, and the ladies who supported luvr from the start won't be forgotten as we grow.

Now the honest part.

You'll only ever do as well as you market yourself. And ladies… some of these photos look like they were taken on a Nokia 3310 in a candle-lit room during load shedding. It's 2026 — every smartphone takes a sharp image, good lighting is free, and a clean background is free. Clients scroll through hundreds of profiles. They stop on the ones that look clear, honest, and confident. They do not stop on a blurry mystery blob.

Worth knowing: our most-visited advertiser was sitting at the top of the rankings before she even got verified. How? Her own photos. Clear, honest, well-lit. She did the work, and the visits followed.

Bookings don't fall from the sky — not on luvr, not anywhere. The platform brings the eyes; you bring the reason to stop scrolling.

Things you can do today to get more visits:

1. Clear, honest photos. Your gallery is everything. Good light, sharp focus, real you. Upload under "My Photos" in your dashboard.

1. Reorder your photos. Drag them around in "My Photos" — the first one becomes your profile card photo, the one everyone sees first. Experiment, then check "My Statistics" to see how it changes your traffic.

1. Set your availability. Clients filter by who's available now — out of date means invisible. Update under "My Availability". Takes 10 seconds.

1. Ask happy clients for a review. Real reviews stand out instantly. Use "Copy Referral Link" in your dashboard to send regulars straight to your review page (and earn points while you're at it).

1. Get verified. More trust, more clicks, better placement. WhatsApp us — there's more than one method.

1. Keep your description fresh. A stale profile reads as inactive. Tweak it under "My Info" now and then.

1. Promote your luvr profile elsewhere. X, your contacts, wherever — drive your own traffic in too.

ps: Sorry that it came to this, but we added a penalty system to those trying to upload photos from other sites. We legally cannot use this and we make it very clear during signup. Please respect this rule.

One last thing. If luvr isn't for you, we won't hold you back. You can delete your profile yourself from Dashboard → Account Settings, and we keep none of your data once you do. No hard feelings, the door's open both ways.
